Highlights: Anthony Myers, playing for the first time since being diagnosed with a brain tumor, scored twice and Brandon George had three touchdowns as Berks Catholic defeated Milton Hershey 49-21 in a District 3 Class 4A semifinal at Forino Sports Complex.

Myers scored on a 1-yard run and an 80-yard punt return as the Saints (10-2) advanced to the district championship game against Bishop McDevitt, tentatively set for Friday, site and time to be determined.

McDevitt advanced with a 40-16 victory over Conrad Weiser.

Myers also played on special teams and was in on several tackles.

George scored on runs of 6, 2 and 18 yards, helping the Saints to a 42-7 halftime lead.

Jadin Bookser returned an interception 47 yards for a TD to give the Saints a 49-7 lead early in the third quarter.

The Spartans (10-2) scored two TDs in the fourth quarter against the Saints' second-team defense, the second with less than a minute to play.

Berks Catholic beat Bishop McDevitt 45-24 last year for its third straight district championship.
